THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY (GA)
The United Nations General Assembly is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, serving as its main deliberative, policymaking, and representative organ. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

Hello everybody, my name is Safiya Zaki and I am honored to be a chair at this years CACMUN 47 conference. I have been in MUN for three years, and am extremely grateful for the important lessons I learned during this time. I am very excited to be a chair of the GA, alongside my colleagues to create even better experiences for delegates, and hopefully make this conference unforgettable.

Hi everyone! My name is Amina Saadany, and I’m thrilled to be serving as your Deputy Chair for the General Assembly at CACMUN this year! I’ve been participating in MUN for three years. MUN has taught me the value of collaboration, open mindedness, and the power of well crafted words lessons I can’t wait to share with all of you. My goal is to create a welcoming, engaging, and productive environment where every delegate feels confident to voice their perspective and challenge ideas fearlessly. Hello everyone! My name is Aisha Faheem, and I’ve been a passionate member of Model United Nations since eighth grade, starting from the very bottom as an admin and working my way up through years of experience and dedication. Over the years, I’ve participated in six conferences, including THIMUN in The Hague, which was an incredible opportunity to engage in global discussions on an international stage. I’m truly excited to be part of GA this year and can’t wait to collaborate, debate, and share ideas with all of you. I look forward to a conference filled with insightful discussions and meaningful resolutions!
